Mindy’s Little Sidekicks opened in July 2015, shortly after the birth of my son, Oliver. Having worked with, or on behalf of, children my entire adult life, opening Mindy’s Little Sidekicks seemed like a natural choice as a way to spend time with my son and continue educating young people. I have worked in the K-12 school system, at a large child care center, as an in-home nanny, and have audited child care centers through the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have taken numerous courses in infant care, child psychology, and early child development.
I am originally from Oshkosh and moved to the Madison area in July of 2014 with my husband, Jason and our cat, Penny. Oliver was born in May 2015 and is our first child. When I am not spending time with my family, I like to read, crochet, paint, scrapbook, practice yoga, and play board games with friends.
