How Often Should You Read Aloud to Your Child?

How often do you read to your child? The American Academy of Pediatrics encourages parents and caregivers to read to children from infancy on every day; however this recommendation is only followed for fewer than half of children under five. Scholastic‘s research demonstrates that reading aloud with children is not only a worthwhile way to encourage language development, but also creates a special bonding time that children get to spend with their parents.
